Research in Geography at McGill The mix of research interests of professors in the Department of Geography is rich and dynamic, reflecting a wide range of expertise. Very broadly, our interests can be grouped into 6 thematic areas of research. Most of our professors have research interests that span more than one area within geography however, and many are interdisciplinary in their approaches. Our research ranges from the local to the global in scale, involves researchers from many other universities as well as public and private sector organisations, and is built upon collaborative and complementary research relationships. For a list of professors operating in each areas, follow the links below. To see the full extent of each professor's research, please visit their individual home pages.
